A light plane made an emergency landing in a vineyard near Santa Ynez Airport Saturday, after the pilot reported engine trouble.

No one hurt as the single-engine plane landed in the vineyard.

A pilot practicing takeoffs and landings got more than he bargained for, when he was forced to make an emergency landing on the Central Coast.

The plane was flying out of Santa Ynez Airport Saturday morning when the pilot reported engine trouble.

The pilot wasn't able to make it back to the field, and ended up making a crash landing in a nearby vineyard.

No injuries were reported.
