Watch out! Two more storms on the way for the Tri-Counties

KCLU

Little rain expected from the first storm, but the second one could be more significant.

Enjoy the nice weather Saturday, because two more storms are on the way for the Tri-Counties.

The first system will arrive Saturday night. It will mean the possibility of light rain Saturday night into Sunday. The Central Coast could get a third of an inch of rainfall, while the South Coast will have to settle for sprinkles.

A more potent storm with a potential atmospheric river boost will arrive on Monday, and stick around through mid-week. But, unlike the last few storm systems, this one appears to be headed south of us, into Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Meteorologists say it’s still too soon to predict exactly where the storm will be focused, but the heaviest rain is expected on Tuesday.
