Window closing for FEMA aid for victims of January 9th storm in Tri-Counties

KCLU

March 16th is the last day to register for help.

Thursday is the deadline from individuals, and families in the Tri-Counties hit hard by the January 9 storm to sign up for assistance.

Eligible people can receive financial assistance with home repairs, and with the replacement of things like clothing and furniture.

Disaster declarations for San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties made people impacted by the storm potentially eligible for aid.

You can call 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m., or you can register at DisasterAssistance.gov.
