There’s been a guilty plea in the murder of a homeless Ventura County woman.

Prosecutors say Sandra Dillard pled guilty to first degree murder for the September, 2021 killing of Kelsey Dillon.

The 30-year-old victim had been struck in the head, and stabbed. Her body was found under the Highway 101-Highway 33 interchange in Ventura.

Dillard was in custody on other charges when she was arrested last year for the murder. She also pled guilty this week to three other pending felony charges.
