As you’ve heard, the Academy Award nominations are out. You’re going to get the chance to see a number of the honorees in person before the Oscars telecast. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival has events featuring a number of the nominees.
The list of this year’s nominees set to be a part of the festival includes Angela Bassett, Cate Blanchette, Kerry Condon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Frasier, and Colin Farrell.
A number of up and coming actors and actress who received nominations are also headed to Santa Barbara.
One of them is Best Actor nominee Austin Butler, who played Elvis Presley in the movie “Elvis.”
This list is expected to grow during the next few weeks, as the film festival announces those taking part in panels, and events for things like screenwriting and directing.
The 2023 Santa Barbara International Film Festival runs February 8-18.
