Anti-semitic flyers were dumped in the yards of some homes in Santa Barbara.

Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a hate crime in Santa Barbara County.

Someone distributed anti-Semitic flyers to homes in Santa Barbara’s Mesa area over the weekend. The flyers were in clear plastic sandwich bags and left in the front yards of homes.

Detectives say it doesn’t appear that anyone specific was being targeted. But, investigators describe the leaflets as “full of hate.” The action was especially upsetting to many because the flyers were discovered on the first day of Hanukkah.

Investigators are hoping that someone may have surveillance video of whoever was dropping the flyers in front of houses.
