How wet was it? Some parts of the Tri-Counties topped 7" of rain from weekend storm!

Ventura had 1.3", Santa Barbara 1.5", and Los Osos 2.2".

The Tri-Counties had some major rainfall over the weekend, and we’re seeing more Monday.. Some mountain and foothill areas received five to seven inches of rain.

Some of the rainfall totals are impressive. Nordhoff Ridge in Ventura County had 7.3” inches of rain, while San Marcos Pass in Santa Barbara County had 6.9”.

Looking at some of the community totals, Westlake Village had 2.3” of rain, Ojai 1.9”, and Ventura 1.3”. In Santa Barbara County, Santa Barbara had 1.5” of rain, Solvang 1.7”, and at KCLU’s transmitter on Gibraltar Peak above Montecito, 5.6” of rain was recorded. And, In San Luis Obispo County, Los Osos had 2.2” of rain, and Nipomo 1.4”.

A low pressure system moving through Santa Barbara County Monday morning could bring another half inch to inch of rain in the region, before clearing out later Monday.

No major flooding issues have been reported in the region.

We’ll get a break for the rest of the work week, with another chance of rain next weekend.
