Salud Carbajal, Julia Brownley appear to have locks on keeping their seats

Two members of Congress from the Tri-Counties look like they’ll be headed back to Washington, D.C. with big leads in their races for re-election.

As of 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night, Democratic Congressman Salud Carbajal of Santa Barbara had a 63% to 37% lead over Republican Challenger Dr. Brad Allen for the 24th District Congressional seat.

And, Democratic Congresswoman Julia Brownley of Westlake Village has a big lead over her challenger in her quest for a sixth term in office. The 26th District Congresswoman leads Republican Matt Jacobs by a 58% to 42% margin as of late Tuesday night.
