A Ventura County health network has hired a new President, and CEO.
Mick Zdeblick has been hired to run the Ventura-based Community Memorial Health System. Zdeblick has been CEO of a Medford, Oregon based health network since 2017, where he oversaw the $500 million renovation and expansion of the Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
He helped run major hospitals in the Bay Area, as well as in Chicago.
Zdeblick will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of longtime Community Memorial President and CEO Gary Wilde. Wilde has managed the organization since 2004. During his tenure, he oversaw the planning and construction of a new Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, and helped put together a merger with Ojai Valley Community Hospital.
