What was called the Hollister Fire occurred in the Hollister Ranch area in March. No homes were destroyed or damaged, but two firefighters were injured.
Edward Macklin was arrested in connection with the blaze. Santa Barbara County prosecutors say he pled guilty to one count of arson. He’s set to be sentenced later this month. They say he’ll get jail time, as well as felony probation.
