Motive for killing of 72-year-old man in Santa Ynez valley still unclear.

A fugitive sought for the murder of a 72-year-old Central Coast man has been arrested.

Terry Wilson died after being attacked in Santa Ynez early Saturday morning. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies identified Rylen Quinn Svane-Morris of Lancaster as a suspect in the killing.

Detectives say the 26-year-old man then stole a van, and fled the county. Law enforcement agencies throughout the state were notified. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies received a tip he was in the area, and arrested him without incident.

Investigators still aren’t talking about what they think led to the killing, or exactly how it happened.
