A Thursday afternoon fire destroyed one mobile home, and heavily damaged a second in the Santa Barbara County community of Los Alamos.

Blaze in the community of Los Alamos also triggered two acre brush fire.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire which destroyed one mobile home, and heavily damaged a second on the Central Coast.

The fire was discovered just before 1 p.m. Thursday in the Rancho Alamo Mobile Home Park, in Los Alamos. Santa Barbara County firefighters arrived to find flames and smoke pouring from a mobile home. It was a total loss. An adjacent mobile home was heavily damaged.

The fire then spread to an adjacent field, burning about two acres of brush before it was contained. No injuries were reported.
