Businesses, non-profits, and apartment buildings among those eligible for grants

More than $1 million in grant money is available for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations in Ventura County.

The funding from a state grant program, and the Clean Power Alliance is intended to promote access to charging stations.

Businesses, non-profits, multifamily properties, and government facilities are among those potentially eligible. The funding can cover up to 75% of project costs.

Extra money is available for charging stations in low-income communities, or at multi-family housing complexes.
