There’s been an arrest in connection with a murder on the South Coast.
Oliver Willis was stabbed to death on West Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks early Sunday morning. Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives identified Alain Alvarez of Thousand Oaks as a suspect in the killing.
The 28-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday on an unrelated charge. Detectives got a search warrant, and say they recovered evidence connecting Alvarez to the murder of the Thousand Oaks man.
There’s no word yet on what led to the killing.
