A new chancellor has been picked for a college district serving more than 30,000 students on the South Coast.
After a months-long selection process, Ventura County Community College District trustees picked Rick MacLennan to be the district’s new chancellor.
He has more than 30 years experience in higher education.
MacLennan was President of Garrett College in Delaware for six years, and after that headed North Idaho College for five years. He’ll take over as head of the district in Ventura County in July.
