With the pandemic easing, a Central Coast city is adding a fun outdoor community activity in the form of an old-fashioned roller skating rink.
Downtown San Luis Obispo's Mission Plaza will host a pop-up roller rink this spring.
Skate Mission Plaza will be open afternoons and evenings for most of the month of May. The Downtown SLO business organization teamed up with the City of San Luis Obispo to bring the pop-up event to the city.
Tickets for the event will include rental skates. The pop-up rink will feature music, and even a disco ball.
