Woman dies in Central Coast RV fire

A woman died in an early morning fire in an RV Tuesday on the Central Coast.

The vehicle was in flames when firefighters reach scene.

A woman is dead following an early-morning RV fire on the Central Coast.

The blaze was discovered just after 6 a.m. Tuesday, on Kansas Avenue between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. The RV was parked at a safe camping area created by San Luis Obispo County for people living in their vehicles.

The woman and her cats died in the blaze. Her name hasn’t been released. There’s no word on the cause of the fire.
