You’re being invited to a Presidential birthday party this weekend.

Sunday marks the 111th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan’s birthday.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley is sponsoring a special celebration.

The outdoor event begins at 10:30 a.m., with live music by the First Division Marine Band. The program begins at 11 a.m., and features remarks by former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan. The event will also include the laying of a wreath on President Reagan’s gravesite.

The event is free, and open to the public, but you must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative test within 72 hours of the event. Attending the celebration on the museum grounds is free, but it doesn’t include admission to the museum.
