It got here later than expected, but a storm system has finally arrived on the Central and South Coasts. The rainfall started Wednesday, but most of the precipitation is expected Thursday.

San Luis Obispo County could see its heaviest rainfall Thursday morning, with the focus of the storm moving into Santa Barbara County midday Thursday and Ventura County Thursday night.

Rainfall amounts of one to three inches are possible for much of the region. However, no serious debris flow issues are expected in the Alisal Fire burn zone.
