There's a tragic end to the search for a missing diver off the Santa Barbara County coastline.
Santa Barbara County firefighters say a lobster diver went into the ocean just south of Gaviota at around 3 a.m. Saturday. When the diver failed to surface, authorities were notified.
County firefighters and the Coast Guard launched a search. The diver's body was discovered, and recovered at around 8 a.m. The identity of the diver hasn't been released.
