Ventura County Sheriff's detectives ID suspects, and Orange County Sheriff's deputies arrest two after car chase.

Detectives say they’ve broken up a ring responsible for at least 18 home burglaries in Ventura and Orange Counties.

Investigators say over the summer, two men targeted homes in the Camarillo and Thousand Oaks areas. Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives say they identified Juan Mancini of Los Angeles, and Brian Molina from Chile, as suspects.

They say they found the duo casing some homes in Newport Beach for possible burglaries. The detectives notified the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The department sent up a helicopter, and after the men were seen leaving the house with stolen property, deputies moved in to arrest them.

There was a car chase, with the men ramming a patrol car. But, they were safely arrested. They’re being held in Orange County, but prosecutors say they will be facing charges in Ventura County.
