Arrests come after car chase on Highway 101.

Two people have been arrested, and a third is still being sought following a string of burglaries, followed by a car chase in the Conejo Valley.

On Wednesday, Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies started receiving phone calls about some home burglaries scattered around the Thousand Oaks area.

Deputies say when the burglars were at the third house they hit, the owner arrived. The burglars fled, but the homeowner got a description of their car, and called 911.

The car was spotted on southbound Highway 101 in Agoura Hills. There was a chase, and the vehicle hit several cars as it was getting off the freeway at Lindero Canyon Road. The car stopped nearby, and the three people inside fled on foot. A man and woman were quickly arrested, but a third is still at large.

No injuries were reported.
