Central, South Coasts rocked by earthquakes

Pair of temblors centered near San Simeon Monday afternoon.

The Central and South Coasts have been rocked by a pair of earthquakes.

A magnitude 4.7 quake occurred at 4:42 Monday afternoon. It was followed by a magnitude 3.6 quake just seven minutes later, at 4:49 p.m.

Both quakes were centered about 11 miles southeast of San Simeon.

There are no reports of injuries or damage. But, some people as far away as Santa Barbara reported feeling the shaking.
