Air quality not at unhealthful levels yet, but wind shifts could push it into danger zone.

Smoke, and ash from from the Alisal Fire has triggered an air quality alert for Santa Barbara County.

Air quality hasn’t reach unhealthful levels yet, but it could with some expected wind shifts.

Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District officials say if you see or smell smoke, you should avoid outdoor activity. If you are an essential worker, and need to work outside during smoky conditions, you should wear a properly fitted N-95 mask.
