Lightning near Santa Barbara West Beach Monday night

Highest rain totals in quarter-inch range, but many spots get less than a tenth of an inch.

There was lighting, and there was thunder, but when all was said and done, the thunderstorm activity which rolled through the Central and South Coasts didn't create a lot of rain.

Rainfall amounts in the region from the wild weather ranged from .01" to around .40".

In Ventura County, Westlake Village had .03" of rain, Camarillo had .12", and Channel Islands Harbor .31"

In Santa Barbara County, Summerland recorded .18" of rain, Goleta .30", and Solvang .04".

While dry weather is in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, a storm system headed south from the Gulf of Alaska could bring rainfall to the region Thursday night into Friday.
