The body of a woman has been discovered off of a South Coast highway, and the death is being called suspicious.
CHP officers say the body of an adult woman was found just before 10 a.m. Friday in an area between Highway 33's on and offramps near Olive Street in West Ventura.
Details of the death haven't been released, other than there was enough evidence to classify it as suspicious. There's no word on the identity of the woman.
Authorities are hoping someone might have noticed unusual activity in the area which might help with the case.
