Boom! Fourth Of July Fireworks Shows Set For More Than A Half Dozen Central, South Coast Communities

Some will take place July 3rd; A few communities cancelled shows this year because of the pandemic

Fireworks are traditionally a big part of the Fourth of July weekend, but with brush fire danger high on the Central and South Coasts firefighters are hoping you will leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals.

Some communities are getting an early jump on celebrations. Moorpark, Fillmore, and Ojai are holding community fireworks shows on Saturday, July 3rd. Moorpark’s show is in Arroyo Vista Community Park. Fillmore’s will take place at Fillmore Middle School, and Ojai’s is at Nordhoff High School.

On the Fourth of July, shows are planned for Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Santa Paula and Simi Valley. The Camarillo show will take place at the Camarillo Premium Outlets. In Thousand Oaks, it will occur near the Hillcrest Center. The Santa Paula Show is planned for Harding Park, and the Simi Valley fireworks celebration will be at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park.

In Santa Barbara County, shows are set for Santa Barbara, off of West Beach, and in Lompoc in Ryon Memorial Park.

Because of the pandemic, shows were cancelled in some communities, including Santa Maria, Solvang, Goleta, and Ventura.
