Seven concerts planned for Solvang Festival Theater

A nearly four decade old amphitheater on the Central Coast is set to reopen this summer with a jazz and rock music concert series, after being shut down by the pandemic.

It’s the first time in nearly a year and a half music will be heard on the grounds of the Solvang Festival Theater. The series will include five jazz concerts, as well as two concerts featuring local rock bands. The series begins on June 20th and runs through August 22nd.

Solvang Theaterfest Executive Director Scott Coe says the concert series will be on the theater’s grounds, in its Patron Garden. Capacity will be limited to 150 people to insure health safety.
