The South Coast is getting some new weekend commuter rail service.
Starting May 29th, Metrolink is going to offer Saturday service between Ventura County and Los Angeles.
The new Saturday train will leave Moorpark at 8:52 a.m. and Simi Valley at 9:06 a.m. It will arrive at Union Station in Los Angeles at just after 10 a.m.
Then, the return service will leave Union station at 4:28 p.m, and arrive back in Moorpark just after 5:30 p.m.
The idea is to make it easier for people in Ventura County to get to Los Angeles for the day.
