Longtime South Coast Judge Retires

On bench in Ventura County for nearly two decades

A longtime South Coast judge has retired after nearly two decades on the bench.

Ventura County Superior Court Judge William Liebmann focused on civil and family law during his court tenure.

He is a former Supervising Family Law Judge, as well as a past Supervising Judge at Ventura County’s East County Courthouse in Simi Valley.

He started off his career as a lawyer in private practice. The longtime Ventura County resident also served on the Camarillo City Council, and as Camarillo’s mayor.
