New Unemployment Numbers For Central, South Coasts Show Improvement In Jobless Rate

There's some good news about the unemployment situation on the Central and South Coasts. The latest jobless numbers show continued improvement for the region.

Ventura County went from a 6.4% unemployment rate in March to 6.2% in April. Santa Barbara County went from 6.6%, to an even 6% month-to-month. And, San Luis Obispo County also had a lower number, moving from 5.8% in March to 5.6% in April.

The state showed no month-to-month change, with unemployment at 8.3%
