Country stars Brothers Osborne set to perform at Santa Barbara Bowl

After losing it 2020 season due to COVID-19, one of the most popular concert venues on the Central and South Coasts has announced its first new event in more than a year.

The Santa Barbara Bowl is going to host one of the hottest acts in country music. The “Brothers Osborne.” The country duo was among the headliners at last weekend’s big ACM Awards show.

Goldenvoice, which handles bookings for the Santa Barbara Bowl, announced that the brothers will perform October 13th at the Bowl.

It’s the first new show announcement for the Bowl’s 2021 season. Tickets for the concert go on sale this coming Friday.

Goldenvoice officials told KCLU News that they are planning to sell all of the Bowl’s 4,000 plus seats, banking on the idea that social distancing won’t be an issue by this fall. Still uncertain is whether proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test will be required as a part of admission.

There are a handful of carryover concerts from last year like John Legend which are already on the books. The Bowl is pushing its season back to September, October, and possibly November over COVID-19 safety concerns.
