300+ New COVID-19 Cases Reported On Central, South Coasts Over Last Three Days

But, the good news is there were no additional COVID-19 related deaths reported in region

More than 300 new COVID-19 cases were reported on the Central and South Coasts Saturday through Monday. Ventura County had 115, Santa Barbara County 182, and San Luis Obispo County 31.

Ventura County moved into the state’s orange reopening tier last week, but Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties are still working to lower new case numbers enough to allow more reopenings.

The COVID-19 death toll remains at 1687 since the start of the pandemic, with now additional deaths reported over the weekend.

Ventura County has had 990, Santa Barbara County 441 and San Luis Obispo County 256.
