111 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On Central, South Coasts

The region continues on a path towards more reopenings.

COVID-19 new case numbers remaining on the decline on the Central and South Coasts. 111 additional cases were reported in the region Thursday. The totals include 48 in Ventura County, 46 in Santa Barbara County and 17 in San Luis Obispo County.

Ventura County officials say the numbers remain low, the county is on track to move from the red, to the more liberal reopening tier next week.

Three additional COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the Tri-Counties. There have been 1679 deaths in the region since the start of the pandemic.
