We have performers come from far and wide to enjoy our stage. Doors open at 6 pm, Henry warms up the mic at 6:45, and the show starts at 7 pm. Each performer gets 10 minutes in the spotlight. One cover song only per set. This event is a community fundraising show that encourages donations to support our Namba Performing Arts Space. Vocals and instruments will be run through the excellent sound system; microphones, monitors, direct in jacks, and the house grand piano are available.

The Milkweed, Latent. The Home, Returned.
The Milkweed, Latent: The Home, Returned, is an intimate installation and guided ceremony led by Chicago-based fiber and installation artist Piper Snowber in response to the destruction of their family home on November 6th, 2024 in the Mountain Fire.
Participants are invited to reflect on loss as a transitional moment in a geologic continuum, and upon the sanctity of fire as a powerful catalyst for reconnecting with the land.
“This piece initiates a conversation around climate grief to deepen our connection with the Earth and process changes that are occurring within it. While acknowledging the devastation fire has caused, this ceremony explores its sanctity and challenges our separation from it.” - Piper Snowber
All 3 Performances Are Free To Attend:
5:45 p.m.
6:30 p.m.
7:15 p.m.

A Night at the Movies
The Lompoc Concert Association presents “A Night at the Movies,” at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, March 11, at 7:30pm. Colleen Moore, the top grossing box-office draw of the silent film era in 1927, stars as a clever and charming Cinderella who escapes a life of servitude in the romantic comedy, “Ella Cinders.” A bonus short silent film, "One Week, " starring Buster Keaton, opens the evening. Christian Elliott, recognized as Organist of the Year by the American Theatre Organ Society in 2009, elevates the action and the fun, performing nonstop during the film. His recreations of silent film scores place his work scoring and accompanying them in high demand. www.christianelliott.com
