The annual Santa Barbara County Economic Summit features presentations by a panel of experts on the state of the economy and policy in Santa Barbara and California. The Santa Barbara County economic report will be delivered by Peter Rupert, director of the UCSB Economic Forecast Project. Presentations will be followed by a panel moderated by Peter Rupert.

Santa Barbara Master Chorale Call for Auditions
Join the Santa Barbara Master Chorale for an exciting concert season, beginning with
Gabriel Faure’s Requiem and John Rutter’s Gloria. Performances will be on November 11th and 12th at First Presbyterian Church, 21 E. Constance, Santa Barbara.
We welcome all singers with choral experience. Auditions begin Tuesday, September 6, at 6:30 pm. Rehearsals begin August 29, and are held Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church.

Let’s create live theatre together! Now in its 53rd year of Theatre for Youth, the Santa Monica Playhouse Diversity-in-Education Conservatory is delighted to offer a one-week Winter Break Theatre Camp for kids 6 to 14. Activities include theatre games, voice and movement, acting, imagination building, writing, costume creation, self-confidence, making friends and a LIVE, IN-PERSON PERFORMANCE on the last day.
