    Up to $350,000 in Homebuyer Assistance is available to help eligible households purchase a home in lower fire risk areas of California --- You don’t have to have perfect credit to qualify, and the financial assistance is forgiven after five years!

    Who Should Attend?

    - Residents who were renters or homeowners residing in a High or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone during the wildfire of 2017.
    - Wildfire recovery agencies and organizations.
    - Real estate professionals.
    - Residential service providers.
    - Fire departments.
    - Members of the media.

    Interpreter Services Available Upon Request
    Spanish and American Sign Language interpreter services will be provided if specified during registration.

    Complete program policies, eligibility requirements, applications, rates and more are available through ReCoverCA HBA Lenders. The Program is provided by the California Department of Housing and Community Development, funded through a Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery grant from HUD and managed by Golden State Finance Authority, a public agency.
  • This year marks the 29th anniversary of our Annual Community Holiday Dinner on Christmas Day. Temple Adat Elohim is happy to sponsor and host this annual tradition. Serving approximately 250 meals, this dinner is a place for those who might otherwise be alone on Christmas Day, or who might not have the means to put together a Christmas Dinner. Through the generosity of many in our community, we provide a nourishing, festive dinner.

    The dinner is open to all members of the community, regardless of religious affiliation. It is held at Temple Adat Elohim on Monday, December 25, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in our festively decorated social hall, Community members are welcome to drop in at any time during those hours.

    Guests will savor a delicious hot turkey meal with all the fixings, accompanied by holiday music. Additionally, gifts will be available for children.
