Sheriff’s deputies responding to a possible trespassing call on the Central Coast discovered that a 77-year-old woman had been murdered. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Chamisal Lane near Arroyo Grande Friday night.
They found Jeanine Vore’s body in her home. Neighbors gave deputies a description of a car they had seen in the area. It was spotted, and stopped in Pismo Beach a few hours later.
After questioning, Kayonie Eliaz Mendibles was arrested for murder. The 18-year-old man is from Fresno. Investigators aren’t talking about what they think led to the murder.
