Ventura, San Luis Obispo Counties Extend Coronavirus Stay At Home Orders
There's now nearly 900 diagnosed coronavirus cases on the Central and South Coasts. With the crisis continuing, Ventura and Santa Luis Obispo Counties extended stay at home orders until May 15th.
In Ventura County some aspects of the order are being loosened. The county reopened its parks Friday night. Playgrounds, campgrounds and golf courses remain closed.
There are now 897 coronavirus cases in the region.
Ventura County has 396 cases. Santa Barbara County has 373 cases. 110 of its cases are inmates, and staff at the federal prison complex in Lompoc. San Luis Obispo County is at 127. There have been 17 deaths in the region.
