The coronavirus crisis has had a number of impacts on the Central and South Coasts. One of them is a blood shortage.
As you can imagine, it’s been harder than usual to do blood drives. One is set to take place this week in Ventura County.
There will be a bloodmobile at the medical offices next to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you are healthy, you can contribute. But, people who’ve been out of the country, or on a cruise ship during the last month are ineligible.
Also, if you or someone you live with has had coronavirus, or are spected of having it, you are ineligible to give at this time.
