Detectives say the death of a man whose body was found in the yard of a Ventura County home is not considered to be the result of foul play. Investigators say Garrett Wayne had been at a Moorpark home on Christmas Eve, and been drinking heavily. Neighbors tried to escort the 57 year old man out of the yard. But, the Moorpark man apparently fell asleep in a side yard.
Wayne was found in the side yard Christmas morning, where he had apparently passed away. Autopsy results are pending, but detectives say there were no signs of trauma, or other indications he might be the victim of a crime.
