Detectives Say Armed And Dangerous Murder Suspect From San Diego Could Be In Ventura County

Authorities say an armed, and dangerous man wanted for a Thanksgiving Day murder in San Diego might be in Ventura County. San Diego Police say Forrest Robert Brantley was involved in a fight with a man near the San Diego Sports Arena. They say Brantley fatally injured the man, who died at a hospital shortly after the fight.

Detectives say it’s possible Brantley is still in San Diego County. But, they say they also have information he could be in Ventura County.

Tuesday afternoon it was thought he might be at Ventura College, prompting a campus lockdown. But, it was lifted after it was determined the Brantley wasn’t at the school. The 38 year old man is wanted for the murder investigation, as well as for a parole violation.
