A Central Coast man arrested on hate crime charges is now facing ten felony counts.
San Luis Obispo County prosecutors say Richard Orcutt made hate crime criminal threats against multiple people in his San Luis Obispo neighborhood.
They say Orcutt threatened to shoot property managers who would consider renting homes to minorities. And, they say he also threatened to shoot any minority renters who might move into his neighborhood.
More than three dozen weapons were seized from Orcutt’s home, including an assault rifle.
