Sewage spill disrupts traffic on Highway 126 Friday afternoon

A Ventura County highway is back in business, but traffic was disrupted by a big, smelly mess Friday afternoon. Hundreds of gallons of sewage spill from a tanker truck on Highway 126 east of Santa Paula.

The spill happened at about one p.m., and by two crews had one lane open in each direction. No one was hurt. There’s no word yet on exactly what happened.
