Another Storm Passing Through Central, South Coasts; No Issues Anticipated In Burn Zones

The second storm in less than a week is moving through the Central and South Coasts Monday morning, but no major problems have occurred in the region’s brush fire burn zones. The storm is expected to drop about a half inch to inch of rain total on the coast and inland, with potentially up to two inches in some foothill and mountain areas.

The rainfall from this system isn’t expected to be quite as heavy as what we had Saturday. That system also passed through the area without causing serious problems.

A third storm is expected to pass through the region Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, but the latest computer models show light rain north of Point Conception, and mostly sprinkles to the south of it.
