As Expected, Weak Storm Has Little Impact On Central And South Coasts

A weak storm system passed through the Central and South Coasts Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, leaving little more than showers for most of the region.

Some of the heaviest rainfall occured on the Gaviota coastline, which had a half inch of rain, and San Marcos Pass, which had four tenths of an inch.

No issues were reported in any of the brush fire burn zones.  Rainfall was in the tenth of an inch range for parts of southern Santa Barbara County, while western Ventura County County had only a few hundreths of an inch of rain.

Mostly clear skies are in the foreacst through New Year's Eve, but we could see stong wind at times.
