Voting Opens For November Election

It may be weeks still to the November election, but voting officially opened Monday.

You can pick up ballots at local elections offices on the Central and South Coasts.

Hundreds of thousands of vote by mail ballots are set to go out in the mail.  Santa Barbara County Elections officials say they will mail more than 140,000 ballots Tuesday.  Ballot information is available online for Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties, as well as statewide from the California Secretary of State’s office.

Voters will be deciding a number of issues ranging from local school board, and city council races to who will be the state’s next governor.
