Cleanup crews with heavy equipment were called out over the weekend to a Santa Barbara neighborhood, where a hillside slid and covered a street with mud.
It coated Miramonte Drive below Carrillo Hill. The street was closed for more than a day.
The cause of the slide is still unknown, but the area did get a bit of rain Friday night, and fire crews called out to the scene shut off a water main which they said could have had an underground problem.
The street connects Santa Barbara Westside with the Mesa.
