Man Apparently Stabbed To Death On South Coast Now Being Identified

Authorities are now identifying a man who was apparently stabbed to death on the South Coast.

A bus driver found Rito Estrada at a bus stop at the corner of Main, and Ash Streets at about 7:30 Sunday morning. While an autopsy is still pending, the 51 year old man had several stab wounds. Officials with the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office say Estrada was a transient.

There’s no word on what might have led to the killing.
