Nearly 1.2 Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered On Central, South Coasts

New COVID-19 case rate staying low

The battle to contain COVID-19 on the Central and South Coasts continues to show progress.

Nearly 1.2 million doses of vaccine have been administered in the Tri-Counties. 40% of Ventura County residents are now fully vaccinated, and 29% of Santa Barbara County residents fully protected.

The latest new case count stands at 88 people diagnosed with the virus. It includes 52 in Ventura County, 28 in Santa Barbara County and five in San Luis Obispo County.

No additional COVID-19 related deaths were reported Tuesday, with the total currently at 1715 people lost in the three counties.
